The vertical accuracy of pile driving by rotary drilling RIGS is a key factor in the quality of foundation engineering and directly affects the stability of subsequent structures. Preoperative calibration of equipment reference: Before operation, the horizontal outriggers of the drilling rig need to be adjusted, and a level should be used to ensure that the machine body is in a level state. At the same time, calibrate the verticality monitoring device of the drill pipe. If any deviation is found, correct it in time to avoid the tilt of the pile body caused by the reference error of the equipment.


2. Control the initial drilling speed: At the beginning of drilling, adopt a low-speed slow advance mode to ensure that the drill bucket smoothly penetrates the soil layer. Avoid rapid pressurization that may cause the drill pipe to shift instantaneously. After the drill tool has reached a depth of 1-2 meters and established a stable guidance, gradually adjust it to the normal speed.


3. Real-time monitoring of verticality data: Utilize the verticality display system built into the drilling rig or set up lead hammer reference objects around the pile hole. Check the data every 3 to 5 meters drilled. If there is a slight deviation, it should be corrected in time by fine-tuning the Angle of the drill pipe to prevent the accumulation of deviation.


4. Adapt to geological adjustment operations: When encountering soil layers of uneven hardness and softness, reduce the depth of each drilling and adopt the "shallow drilling and frequent lifting" method. When working in sand or pebble layers, appropriately reduce the drilling pressure to prevent the drill tools from shifting due to uneven resistance.


5. Standardize the drill pipe connection process: When extending drill pipes, ensure that the centerlines of each section of the drill pipe are aligned and the tightening torque of the bolts meets the requirements. If there is a gap or eccentricity in the connection of the drill pipe, it will cause the drill pipe to shake during drilling, directly affecting the vertical accuracy of the pile body.


6. Properly carry out site hardening treatment: Before construction, harden the area where the drilling rig is located and lay a steel plate or crushed stone cushion layer to prevent ground settlement during operation. If the ground is soft and causes the machine body to tilt, the machine must be stopped immediately and readjusted. It is strictly forbidden to continue drilling with deviation.
