The three core parameters of torque, drilling depth, and efficiency are crucial throughout the entire construction process. The three are interrelated and mutually restrictive, directly affecting the construction landing effect. Torque is the "power core" of rotary drilling rigs, which determines the ability of the rig to crush rock and soil, and is the foundation for ensuring smooth construction. The larger the torque value, the stronger the breaking force of the drilling rig on the formation, and the more complex the formation it is suitable for. Whether it is complex geological conditions such as hard rock, dense pebble layers, or conventional soft soil layers, sufficient torque can ensure efficient cutting and crushing of rock and soil by the drill bit, avoiding problems such as drill jamming and footage stoppage. On the contrary, insufficient torque can cause the drilling rig to slowly advance in complex formations such as hard rocks, and even fail to break the rock layers. There are significant differences in torque requirements among different geological formations, and high torque machines need to be selected for hard rock formations to ensure construction efficiency and quality.


    Drilling depth is the "operational limit" of rotary drilling rigs, which directly determines the upper limit of the depth for pile foundation construction and adapts to the design requirements of different pile foundations. The drilling depth parameters are mainly determined by the length of the drill rod and the structural strength of the drilling rig. Their values need to be accurately matched with the pile foundation depth in the engineering design, meeting the design requirements while not blindly pursuing excessive depth, otherwise it will significantly reduce construction efficiency. The construction efficiency is mainly reflected in the footage speed per unit time, which not only depends on equipment parameters such as torque and drilling depth, but also closely related to geological characteristics, drilling tool selection, and operating standards. Efficient construction can shorten the costs of drilling rig leasing, manual management, etc., avoid missing the construction season window period, and reduce implicit losses such as construction period penalties; On the contrary, inefficient operations can lead to project delays, forming a vicious cycle of "low efficiency - quality issues - even lower efficiency", while increasing additional expenses such as drilling tool wear and mud consumption. Reasonably matching torque and drilling depth parameters, optimizing drilling technology and operation processes, is the key to improving construction efficiency.
