Rotary drilling rig is a large-scale heavy-duty pile foundation construction equipment with a large scale and wide range of operations. Standardized operation and control of equipment operation to prevent overturning

Overturning is a high incidence of safety accidents during the construction of rotary drilling rigs, often caused by improper operation, unreasonable positioning, and excessive operating loads. Standardized operating procedures need to be implemented throughout the entire process. During the construction process, the drilling rig must be placed steadily, the tracks must be fully flattened and compacted, the body must be kept horizontal and vertical, and it is strictly prohibited to operate in inclined, slope, or suspended areas. The rotation, lifting, and lowering of the drilling rig should be carried out smoothly and uniformly, avoiding illegal operations such as emergency stop, rapid rotation, and sudden lifting and falling, and avoiding the imbalance and overturning of the machine body caused by instantaneous inertial forces. Strictly control the drilling depth, mast inclination angle, and lifting load during operation, and strictly prohibit operations beyond working conditions and amplitudes. In case of severe weather such as strong wind and rainstorm, the construction shall be stopped immediately, the mast of the drilling rig shall be lowered back and leveled, the position of the machine body shall be fixed, and equipment operation with defects and wind shall be prohibited. At the same time, a dedicated person will be arranged to monitor the equipment positioning status throughout the construction process, promptly investigate the hidden dangers of aircraft settlement and displacement, and prevent the accumulation of overturning risks.

Technical specifications for preventing collapse in pile foundation construction

The collapse of pile holes can directly cause serious consequences such as equipment tilting, personnel casualties, and project scrapping, which is the core prevention and control focus of pile foundation construction. It is necessary to implement refined operations in combination with geological conditions. When constructing in geological conditions such as loose sand, silt layers, and sand and gravel layers that are prone to collapse, it is necessary to follow up with the installation of the protective casing to ensure that the depth and sealing of the casing meet the standards, stabilize the soil layer at the hole opening, and prevent the collapse and sliding of loose soil outside the hole. During the drilling process, it is necessary to control the drilling speed reasonably, drill slowly and steadily in soft soil layers, and avoid high-speed drilling disturbing the soil of the hole wall, causing peeling and collapse of the hole wall. Control the mud level and mud density throughout the entire process, ensuring that the mud pressure balances the soil pressure on the hole wall. It is strictly prohibited to operate with a mud level that is too low or a mud ratio that does not meet the standard. After the hole is formed, it is necessary to promptly carry out the process of lowering the steel cage and pouring concrete, shorten the time for the bare hole to stand, and prevent the problem of hole wall collapse caused by long-term vacancy.

On site safety management and emergency prevention and control measures

A sound on-site management and emergency response capability is a key guarantee for preventing and dealing with overturning and collapse accidents. The construction site must strictly implement the system of dedicated personnel and job responsibilities. Operators must hold certificates and complete safety technical briefings before taking up their posts. They must be familiar with equipment operation specifications and risk and hazard disposal processes. Standardized safety barriers and warning signs should be set up in the work area, and unrelated personnel and equipment are strictly prohibited from entering the construction radius to avoid secondary safety accidents caused by cross operation. During daily construction, dynamic inspections should be carried out to monitor the stability of the borehole wall, the levelness of the machine body, and the settlement of the foundation in real time. If any hidden dangers such as slight deviation of the machine body, soil falling off the borehole wall, or abnormal mud are found, work should be stopped immediately for rectification. Forced construction with hidden dangers is strictly prohibited. At the same time, the construction site needs to be equipped with emergency rescue materials and equipment, and special plans should be formulated for sudden accidents such as drilling rig overturning and pile hole collapse.
