At present, domestic leaders such as Sany Heavy Industry, XCMG Group, and Zoomlion jointly occupy the main market share in the industry. The localization rate of core components continues to increase, which not only reduces manufacturing costs, but also breaks the monopoly of overseas technology. The products not only meet the domestic market demand, but also gradually move towards the international market, realizing the transformation from "product export" to "technology output".

    The current industry presents distinct characteristics of high-quality development, with a continuous increase in the proportion of sales of mid to high end intelligent models, a continuous increase in market concentration, and top enterprises building core competitiveness through technological advantages and industrial chain integration capabilities. In the future, with the deepening of digital transformation and the upgrading of green construction requirements, domestic rotary drilling rigs will continue to iterate towards intelligence, greenness, and large-scale direction.
