Under low temperature conditions, ordinary hydraulic oil is prone to solidification and poor fluidity, which can lead to insufficient hydraulic pressure, action lag, pump body wear and other faults. During winter construction, it is necessary to replace the suitable low-temperature specialized hydraulic oil according to the lowest temperature on the construction site, greatly improving the low-temperature fluidity and anti solidification performance of the oil. At the same time, regularly check the hydraulic oil level and quality, replace deteriorated, water containing, and turbid hydraulic oil in a timely manner, and avoid impurities and wear on hydraulic components caused by oil freezing. Various types of pipelines such as oil pipes, water pipes, and gas pipes in rotary drilling rigs are small and dense, and low-temperature frost weather can easily cause pipeline icing, blockage, freezing cracking, and joint leakage problems, directly affecting the normal operation of equipment. Before and after daily construction, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive anti freezing inspection of the entire pipeline, with a focus on protecting key parts such as hydraulic pipelines, cooling water pipelines, and fuel pipelines. Special insulation cotton and anti freezing sheaths can be used to wrap the pipeline and joint positions to isolate the invasion of low-temperature cold air. After work every day, it is necessary to thoroughly drain the remaining water in the equipment water tank and pipelines to prevent low-temperature water accumulation at night from freezing, expanding, and cracking the pipeline fittings. At the same time, regularly inspect vulnerable components such as pipeline joints, sealing rings, valves, etc., tighten loose joints in a timely manner, replace aging seals, avoid leakage faults caused by low-temperature embrittlement, and prevent pipeline freezing damage problems from the source, extending the service life of equipment accessories.
In addition to core anti freezing and start-up measures, standardized winter equipment operation and maintenance habits are key to ensuring stable construction of rotary drilling rigs around the clock. In winter, it is necessary to shorten the equipment maintenance cycle and focus on checking the battery status. In low-temperature environments, the battery's storage capacity decreases, and it is necessary to charge and maintain it in a timely manner, clean electrode dust and debris, and ensure stable startup power supply. At the same time, take good care of the fuel system protection and use winter specific antifreeze diesel to avoid oil line icing and blockage. During the construction process, avoid prolonged idle or overloaded operation of equipment, and adapt to the operating characteristics of winter equipment. After work, clean the entire machine, remove frost and mud from the body, check the protective status of the machine, and park it in a sheltered and antifreeze manner. Systematic winter operation and maintenance can effectively adapt to low-temperature construction environments, significantly reduce equipment failure rates, and ensure efficient, safe, and stable operation of rotary drilling rigs during winter construction.
