Rotary drilling RIGS, as commonly used pile foundation construction equipment in construction projects, although they have many advantages such as high efficiency and convenience, may also encounter various accidents during the construction process. Understanding these common accidents can help take preventive measures in advance and ensure the smooth progress of construction.

1. Pile center offset: If the pile center shifts during construction, it may be due to incorrect pile position marking or inaccurate positioning of the drilling rig. Once such a situation occurs, it is necessary to reposition precisely and adjust the drilling rig to ensure that the center of the pile meets the design requirements.


2. Pile hole inclination: Pile hole inclination will cause the pile body to tilt, which will affect the construction quality and safety. Poor geological conditions or deviation in the alignment of the drilling rig may both cause the pile hole to tilt. At this point, corrective measures should be taken, such as improving the alignment accuracy of drilling RIGS and strengthening geological exploration.


3. Hole blockage: Insufficient specific gravity of the mud or impurities mixed in the mud may both cause hole blockage. In the face of clogged holes, they can be unblocked by increasing the specific gravity of the mud and clearing mud debris, etc.


4. Drill bit drop: Factors such as unstable connection of the drill bit and complex geological conditions may lead to drill bit drop accidents. After the occurrence, the drill bit needs to be reconnected or replaced, and geological exploration work should be strengthened at the same time.


5. Mechanical failure: During operation, rotary drilling RIGS may encounter mechanical issues such as engine failure and hydraulic system failure. Once a malfunction occurs, it should be promptly investigated and maintained to ensure that the machinery returns to normal operation.


6. Overturning of the drilling rig: Excessive force operation by the operator, uneven construction site, raising the large arm while walking, and unstable foundation can all easily cause the drilling rig to overturn. Therefore, before construction, the site must be leveled and compacted. When walking, the large arm must be lowered back first, and the operation process should be smooth.
