In the rotary drilling rig market, resale value and durability are the core considerations that run through both the purchase of new machines and the trading of second-hand equipment, directly impacting the return on investment over the entire lifecycle of the machinery. Different brands exhibit distinct differences in these two key metrics, leveraging their technological expertise, market reputation, and product strength. This not only affects the long-term profit expectations of new machine users but also determines the circulation value of second-hand equipment.

Among domestic brands, XCMG, Sany Heavy Industry, and Zoomlion form the first tier in terms of value retention and durability. XCMG maintains a leading position in the industry with a brand index of 9.8. Its rotary drilling rigs, supported by a comprehensive product line and large-scale production advantages, have garnered high market recognition. The resale market circulation rate remains consistently top-tier, with equipment aged three years retaining over 90% of its value. This strong value retention is underpinned by robust durability design, featuring mature and well-matched systems for core components such as engines and hydraulic systems. These systems can meet the long-term operational demands of complex geological conditions, making them a "reliable choice" for engineering teams.

Sany Heavy Industry's performance is equally impressive, not only ranking at the forefront with a user satisfaction rate of 95.01%, but also standing out in the second-hand market for its "easy resale and slow depreciation." The durability of Sany drills is reflected in detailed optimizations, such as reinforced masts and automatic power head control systems designed for drilling impacts, which effectively reduce equipment wear during deep-hole operations. Even after over five years of use, core performance remains stable, eliminating excessive concerns about depreciation for new machine users and ensuring reliable performance for second-hand buyers.

Zoomlion reinforces its durability foundation through technological innovation, thereby supporting a robust resale value. Its classic ZR420A rotary drilling rig features a dedicated chassis and a dual large triangular luffing system, paired with a triple-speed gearbox configuration. This design effectively prevents issues like drill pipe breakage in challenging conditions such as rock penetration, significantly extending the equipment's lifespan. This reliability ensures that popular models like the Zoomlion 150 and 160 consistently maintain strong demand in the used market, making them a preferred choice for those seeking cost-effectiveness and durability.

As a key player among domestic brands, Sunward Intelligent demonstrates differentiated advantages in durability. Its equipment is renowned for its flexibility and efficiency, with structural designs optimized for small to medium-sized engineering scenarios that minimize unnecessary wear. User feedback highlights "smooth operation and low failure rates." Although its overall resale value slightly lags behind the top three, it remains competitive in the mid-range market, particularly appealing to used equipment buyers who prioritize practicality.

Among imported brands, Liebherr holds a prominent position with its premium positioning. Leveraging the precision craftsmanship of German manufacturing, it establishes a technical barrier in durability, with core hydraulic components generally lasting over 20% longer than similar products. However, constrained by high new machine pricing and maintenance costs, its resale value performance remains modest. Behind a 66.67% user satisfaction rate lies a niche market's precise pursuit of "extreme durability.".

It is worth noting that resale value and durability are always interrelated: durability determines the "floor of residual value," while brand recognition and market share raise the ceiling of resale value. Although brands like Yishan rank first in the resale value list with a 95.06% satisfaction rate, they still lag behind leading brands in terms of durability technology, making them more suitable for users with short-term engineering needs.

For practitioners, selecting new machinery requires a focus on "durable technology highlights," such as XCMG's system integration capabilities and Zoomlion's patented structures. For used equipment, priority should be given to "brand liquidity," as top-tier brands like Sany and XCMG not only depreciate more slowly but also attract buyers more easily. Whether new or used, maximizing the benefits of equipment investment depends on leveraging the core advantages of brands in terms of resale value and durability.
