Due to the long service life of second-hand rotary drilling RIGS, engine maintenance is particularly crucial. Regular replacement of engine oil and filters is the core link to ensure their stable operation and extend their service life. The following is the full process of specific operations to assist operators in standardizing their work.

1. Preparatory work: Prepare in advance the appropriate model of engine oil, oil filter element, as well as tools such as wrenches and oil collection basins; Park the drilling rig on a level ground, turn off the engine and wait for 15 to 20 minutes to allow the engine oil to fully flow back to the oil pan.
2. Oil drain: Use a wrench to unscrew the oil drain bolt of the oil pan, and align the oil collection basin with the oil drain port to collect the old oil. After the old engine oil has been completely drained, install the oil return bolt and tighten it to the specified torque.
3. Removal of the old filter element: Locate the oil filter element on the engine and use a filter element wrench to rotate it counterclockwise to remove it. During the dismantling process, be careful to avoid the spillage of engine oil. At the same time, observe whether the sealing ring of the old filter element is removed along with the filter element.
4. Installation of new filter element: Evenly apply a layer of new engine oil on the sealing ring of the new oil filter element. Rotate the filter element clockwise by hand until the sealing ring fits the base. Then, use a filter element wrench to turn it 1-1.5 turns to complete the fixation.
5. Add new engine oil: Open the oil filling port cap, slowly inject new engine oil into the engine, and check the oil level through the oil dipstick during the filling process. After ensuring that the oil level is between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the dipstick, close the filling port cap.
6. Inspection and Startup: Start the engine and let it idle for 3 to 5 minutes. Observe whether the oil pressure gauge is normal and check for any leakage at the oil drain bolt and the new filter element. After turning off the engine, check the oil level again. If it is insufficient, replenish it in time.
In conclusion, the replacement of engine oil and filter elements for second-hand rotary drilling rig engines must strictly follow the process of "preparation - discharge - disassembly of old - installation of new - refueling - inspection", and each step of the operation should pay attention to detailed standards. Regularly carrying out this maintenance work can effectively reduce engine failures, keep the second-hand rotary drilling rig in good working performance, and lower the later maintenance costs.
