As the core heavy equipment for deep foundation construction, a comprehensive inspection of the rotary drilling rig before start-up is a key link in avoiding equipment failures, preventing safety accidents, and ensuring efficient construction progress. Based on the actual working conditions of pile foundation construction, it is necessary to inspect each core system and component of the equipment one by one according to the standard process before starting up, to ensure that there are no safety hazards, no component damage, and no abnormal operation, laying a solid safety foundation for subsequent drilling, pile forming, and other operations, while extending the service life of the equipment and reducing construction downtime losses.
Before starting up, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the appearance and foundation status of the rotary drilling rig body to eliminate potential safety hazards that may affect the operation. Focus on inspecting the body structure for deformation, cracking, welding detachment, and other conditions, checking whether the drill rod, drill bucket, and other operational components are intact, whether there is wear, deformation, or looseness, and whether the drill bucket teeth are complete and firm. At the same time, check whether the equipment parking area is flat and solid, whether the body is level, whether the leg support is stable, and whether the grounding is good, to avoid risks such as body tilt and leg settlement during operation, and ensure that the equipment is in a stable initial working state.
The power system is the core of the operation of the rotary drilling rig, and it needs to be checked carefully before starting to ensure stable and normal power output. Check whether the engine oil level and quality meet the requirements, whether the coolant is sufficient and leak free, whether the fuel tank is full, and whether the fuel pipeline is damaged or leaking. Start the engine at the same time, monitor whether the engine running sound is stable, observe whether the various parameters of the dashboard (speed, oil temperature, oil pressure, etc.) are normal, check whether there are any abnormal noises, vibrations, oil leaks, etc. in the engine, and ensure that the power system can operate normally and efficiently.
The hydraulic system is responsible for core actions such as lifting and lowering the drill rod and rotating the drill bucket of the rotary drilling rig. Its operating status directly affects the efficiency and safety of equipment operation, and requires special investigation. Check whether the oil level and quality of the hydraulic oil tank meet the standards, whether the hydraulic pipelines and joints are damaged, loose, or leaking, and whether the sealing rings are intact. At the same time, check the core components such as hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor for any abnormal noise or leakage, and ensure that the operating handle is flexible, without any jamming or loosening, to ensure that the hydraulic system pressure is normal and the action is smooth, and to avoid hydraulic failures during operation that may cause shutdown.
The electrical and control system is the core of equipment operation, and a comprehensive inspection is required before starting up to prevent risks such as electric shock and operational failure. Check whether the main power supply and circuit connections of the equipment are secure, whether there are any hidden dangers such as damage, aging, and short circuits, and whether the grounding protection is effective. Check whether the dashboard, indicator lights, and operation buttons in the control room are normal, whether the remote control system and emergency stop button are sensitive and reliable, whether the monitoring equipment is working properly, and ensure that the operators can clearly grasp the operating status of the equipment. In case of emergencies, stop the machine in a timely manner for disposal.
Safety protection devices are important barriers to ensure the safety of operators and equipment. Before starting up, they need to be checked one by one to ensure their integrity and effectiveness. Check whether the safety warning signs of the equipment are clear and complete, whether the protective fence and cover are intact, firm, and free of missing or damaged phenomena. Check whether the wear and tension of the steel wire rope meet the requirements, whether there are broken wires or rust, and whether the steel wire rope clamps are firm. At the same time, check whether the fire-fighting equipment is complete and effective, and whether the placement is reasonable, to ensure timely disposal in case of sudden fire.
In addition to the core system, the auxiliary system of the rotary drilling rig also needs to be checked synchronously to ensure smooth operation throughout the entire process. Check the lubrication system to ensure that each lubrication point is adequately lubricated, and that the grease type meets the requirements to avoid increased component wear. Check the cooling system to ensure that there are no foreign objects blocking the surface of the radiator, and that the cooling fan is working properly, which can effectively cool down the engine and hydraulic system. At the same time, check whether the drainage and sewage systems of the equipment are unobstructed to avoid water accumulation and debris accumulation that may affect the operation of the equipment.
After all inspection items are completed, a comprehensive review must be conducted, and any hidden dangers identified must be rectified in a timely manner. It is strictly prohibited to start operations with hidden dangers. After the rectification is completed, recheck and confirm to ensure that all components and systems meet the operational requirements. At the same time, keep a good record of the inspection, fill in the inspection items, inspection results, and rectification situation in detail, establish an equipment inspection ledger, achieve closed-loop management of pre startup inspection, provide reference for subsequent maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment, and continuously ensure the safe and stable operation of the rotary drilling rig.
