In summer, with high temperatures and frequent rainfall, rotary drilling RIGS operate outdoors for long periods of time, which can easily lead to accelerated component wear and tear due to environmental factors. Proper summer care not only extends the lifespan of equipment but also ensures construction safety and efficiency.

1.Engine heat dissipation maintenance: Regularly clean the dust, willow catkins and other debris on the surface of the radiator to ensure smooth heat dissipation. Check the coolant level and concentration to prevent the engine operation from being affected by high-temperature boiling.

2. Hydraulic system protection: The hydraulic oil should be of the special type for summer to prevent viscosity from decreasing at high temperatures and causing leakage. Before daily operation, check the sealing performance of the pipeline and replace the aged sealing rings in time.

3. Moisture-proof treatment for circuits: Dry the battery terminals promptly after rain and apply vaseline to prevent oxidation. Check the sealing of the wiring harness connectors to prevent rainwater from seeping in and causing short-circuit faults.

4. Tire maintenance measures: Avoid parking under direct sunlight for a long time. You can cover it with a sun visor to reduce rubber aging. Regularly check the tire pressure. In high-temperature environments, appropriately reduce the tire pressure to prevent blowouts.

5. Lubrication system management: High temperatures will accelerate the loss of grease, so the lubrication frequency of key parts (such as drill pipe bearings) needs to be increased. Select high-temperature resistant grease to ensure smooth operation of components.

6. Operator protection: Install sunshades and ventilation equipment in the cab to prevent high temperatures from affecting the operation status. Prepare anti-heatstroke medicines, arrange working hours reasonably and avoid the high-temperature period at noon.
