As a heavy engineering equipment, the rotary drilling rig relies on high-quality oil for the lubrication and protection of its core components. Choosing the right oil can reduce mechanical wear and tear and improve the operational efficiency of equipment. The following six points are the key points for oil selection during maintenance.
1.Hydraulic oil: It needs to be compatible with the pressure of the equipment's hydraulic system and the ambient temperature. Give priority to choosing models with strong anti-wear properties, such as 46 # anti-wear hydraulic oil, which can reduce the wear of hydraulic components.
2. Engine oil: Select the viscosity grade based on the engine power and operating conditions. In summer, high-viscosity engine oil (such as 15W-40) can be selected, while in winter, low-viscosity engine oil (such as 10W-30) should be used to ensure the lubrication effect.
3. Gear oil: For gear transmission components such as the gearbox and drive axle of the drilling rig, extreme pressure gear oil should be selected. It can form an oil film under high load to prevent gear meshing damage.
4. Diesel: The corresponding grade should be selected based on the lowest temperature of the operation area. In cold regions during winter, use -35 diesel to prevent wax formation at low temperatures and clogging of the fuel lines.
5. Grease: For rotating parts such as bearings and pins of drilling RIGS, high-temperature and wear-resistant types should be selected. Regular refilling can reduce the friction coefficient of components and extend their service life.
6. Coolant: It should have the functions of anti-freezing, anti-boiling and anti-rust. It is recommended to use long-lasting coolant to avoid water tank corrosion or boiling over due to water quality issues.
In conclusion, when choosing oil for the maintenance of rotary drilling RIGS, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the characteristics of the equipment components, the operating environment temperature, and the performance parameters of the oil. Scientific oil selection can effectively reduce the probability of failure and provide a guarantee for the long-term stable operation of equipment.
